XPRIZE Semifinals Field Trial
Overview: Without unexpected hinderance, I will be travelling to Costa Rica in 2022 Summer to conduct field trial of the high-throughput DNA Barcoding platform I created, which I go into detail in my research page.
GCS relation: As an engineer, it is vital to test designed systems in a realistic setting to make sure that products are translatable and deployable. In engineering tools for scientific discovery, I needed to learn the process of deployment of my products. If eventually scientists will use my platform, then it is vital that I understand from a user perspective what might go wrong in the field. Troubleshooting is just as important as building.
