With the emergence of billionare funds investing into the hard sciences and climate change, the underlying structure of the research economy has changed and will continue to change. Learning about the basics of the economy and how economic models are formed is the first step into understanding the market.

GCS relation: Research study design and publishing is at the core of scientific discovery. Therefore, understanding these processes is vital in order to build systems around them. Jamie's scientific writing class taught me about how ethics are incorporated into ecological and water studies. As my final project, I created a mock study to test how wastewater treatment lagoons could be made more efficient.
